What's New at ROTL?

What's New at ROTL?
Reading Together Strengthens Our Community

As you can see the website is changing, and hopefully for the better.  Bear with us as we are learning and experimenting with the new look and seeing all the new tools the website have to offer.  We are eager to learn and look forward to seeing how this website will progress.

Back to the topic at hand.  We have great plans for the rest of the year and we hope that our patrons will love the changes.  First and foremost,  story time for toddlers is back  Every Thursday morning,  October 27 - November 15 at 11:30 AM.  Please call the library to RSVP.  We need to have a count of who is coming in order to prepare enough crafts supply for each child.  Children ages 18 months and up are invited with caregivers to join Mrs. Lisa for lively story,  songs ,  finger plays and crafts.  It's great fun and Interactive as well.

Wednesdays afternoon from 4:00-5:30 PM  we have been hosting ASL Chat @ the library.   If you are interested in learning American Sign Language or want to practice your skills, come join the group at the library.  Emerson has been a great promoter and helper in getting the Chat started.  We hope you will join us.

What I am most excited about is Thursdays After-School Homework Help.  Parents have been asking if we can help them help their students at home.  Well, ask and you will receive!  Thursdays from  3:30 - 5:30 PM  students are welcome to come in for homework help with reading, science and math.

Last but not least, we hope that you will stop in at anytime we are open to read a book,  surf the net or stop in just to say HI.  We are your neighborhood library and we love to hear!  Let us know how we can make your library experience better!

Until next time.... happy reading!
